I would like to express my gratitude to Spring Valley funeral home in New Albany. I had several family members pass in a short time. Needless to say I was experiencing a total mental breakdown. Mr and Mrs Oxendine were not only wonderfully professional but reached out to me as if I were one of their best friends. Each funeral was handled with the utmost professionalism. When my daughter passed away I was so distraught. I've never had to plan a burial for anyone let alone my daughter. The other creamatory's acted like it was an inconvenience to let me see my daughter one last time. They were more expensive and they wanted to money up front. Since my daughter died suddenly I didn't have the money right then. They weren't worried about money. The first thing they want to do was get my daughter out of the morgue. They were so kind to me and they helped me get through a difficult time. Thank you for everything.

Spring Valley Funeral & Cremation in New Albany, Indiana, was an endearing funeral home to my sister and I when we laid our father to rest. Anthony, Darlene, Jim, and Bobby were very attentive to our needs. They were patient, kind, and flexible as we made arrangements. Their family style business was comforting. I was able to meet Anthony and Darlene's precious daughter, because we ran so late while making the arrangements. Even this child seemed to understand what we were doing and was very caring and thoughtful as we talked. Also, when we asked for a priest for the funeral, they went above and beyond and had a very personable Catholic Bishop do the service. I am sure Pops was looking down smiling. Also, Dad looked like himself, as if he was sleeping, and that is extremely rare, so we know their makeup artist is fantastic! I could not believe how reasonable their prices were, compared to funeral homes in Louisville, Clarksville, Jeffersonville, and Scottsburg! Plus the price given was the price, they did not add little costs here and there. Because Spring Valley was so wonderful while burying my Pops, my fiance and I are planning on making our own funeral arrangements there so our children will not have to. They were the third service I have been involved in planning, and they were far better and less expensive than the other two!

My husband fell on ice and suffered a traumatic brain injury..He looked just like himself, ready to get up and walk away. didn't use pounds fo make-up etc. thank you all so much for making such a horrible event into something we'll all remember as a treasured farewell to my beloved husband

A caring attitude! We could not have been more pleased with the Spring Valley Funeral & Cremation Home; from start to finish Darlene was gracious, understanding, sympathetic and made this painful time easy and smooth, she followed through on everything she said she would. This funeral home is beautiful inside and out, large parking lot and great location. The service, preparations, ceremony and closing were all outstanding and seamless. I would totally recommend this place..they helped my family out so much..we didn’t have the funds for our uncles cremation and they have offered to help by letting us come up with a portion and making payments on the rest..it’s really hard to come up with a large sum of money at once when you don’t have it and this place was the only place that would help us..everyone else wanted all the money up front which we could not do..they were so understanding and considerate..they took good care of our loved one..I would use them again..we appreciate them so much..thank you so much for helping us

I can't say enough how great all of you were handling my daughter's arrangements. The care and compassion you showed was so comforting. All of us had a lot of ups and downs, along with certain bumps that no one would believe and won't leave us too soon. If anyone wants a great and understanding funeral or cremation, you won't be able to beat this one. No pushing you into anything you may not want and they work on your time line and on your family budget. You are in charge of all arrangements and they work to meet all of your needs. I can't express how happy and grateful I am to have worked with a great group of people.

After attending a service here this week I was filled with comfort and relief. The Funeral Home Minister on staff led the service and although he had never met my mother in life, the message he left us with was one of wonder and full of faith. God was present in the room with His Overwhelming Love and Support. Highly recommend Spring Valley Funeral Home when you need these services. I will continue to recommend Spring Valley Funeral Home to anyone who is in need of a funeral Home. We were treated like family from them and not just another client. The funeral home had a minister do our service and he was awesome he talked with me and my children before the service to learn more about my father and using the things we told him he made an excellent funeral service.
